Riley FINALLY has a decorated nursery! YAY! As some of you know we were renting an apartment when we had Riley and our lease was up a few short months after she was born. With that being said, I didn't want to spend the time, effort, energy, money and emotions on decorating a nursery for my baby girl if we were just going to move out shortly after she arrived. Well, we made the big moved into a house near my parents and I have finally gotten my chance to decorate Riley's nursery. It is such a good feeling to have worked so hard for my baby girl to have the best room ever (at least in my eyes it is!) For some reason my flash would decide when it wanted to work so some of these pictures are a little dark and extra yellow but I think you get the idea. The brighter ones when the flash worked is closer to the true color of her room.
There is a mirror on the floor because Riley loves to catch her reflection in it. Once she sees herself she crawls over, smacks the mirror and starts to have a conversation with herself. I like to think she's saying, "Look at my AWESOME room!"
Now, looking at these pictures I 'm realizing Riley need some drapes. I guess that's the next project.
