Thanksgiving Day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I only managed to snap a few photos from this day. I wish I took the time to take more but at least I got a few....

We woke up early and headed up to West Palm Beach to have Thanksgiving Breakfast with Nick's Mom and Grandparents. We had a yummy breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit and cinnamon rolls. Definitely a good start to our Thanksgiving!

Pretty much every photo of Riley at Nick's Mom's house is of her trying to break free from who ever she's with-all because she wanted to play with the puppies!

After coming back from West Palm, Riley went down for her nap and once she got up, we started working on getting the Christmas Tree decorated.

After that, we were off to my parents house to celebrate Thanksgiving with the rest of the families.

I didn't get many pictures at all but I did get one of Riley and Elena playing in their tutus.

Thanksgiving Eve

We are going to start (or at least try) a new tradition this year. That tradition is buying a Christmas tree on Thanksgiving Eve! Every year we have used a fake tree mostly because we lived in an apartment and we didn't want the hassle of carrying it up the stairs. Now that we bought a house, dragging a Christmas tree in is much easier! Plus, the smell is amazing! I had forgotten how good a Christmas tree smelt until we walked into the store to buy one. Ahhhh, the smell of Christmas is just the best!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's Thanksgiving! Riley Joy's 1st Turkey Day!!! We all jumped in the car and headed to my Mom and Dad's house for the day. We had a total of 17 people and 2 dogs and needless to say, everyone was hungry and ready for the fantastic Thanksgiving feast. Mom also wanted to get some family pictures to send out in her Christmas cards. Of course Riley decided she would take a 2 hour nap (this NEVER happens) and by the time she got up the sun was practically gone =(

Oh well, I still think Mom got some great pics!
