My pickle girl =)

My little girl is ALL about pickles! One day she made an effort to get to a pickle that was on my plate. I thought it was odd, but then again, she wants everything!!! So I cut up a bit a gave her a piece-she LOVED IT! Ever since then we've been cutting up pickles and mixing it in with her food and it never fails that she find every bit of pickle and consumes it before she eats anything else on her mat. She is a pickle eating machine! We go to a small ldiner quite often and they have noticed her love of pickles so they tend to slip one on her plate. Today, she grabbed it before I could cut it up so I decided to let her at it! And this is how it looked:

Bathroom and Baby

Life has definitely been busy! We still have a few updates to do to the new house but we're getting close to having things done. Soon we'll be able to come home and just enjoy our new home instead of thinking things like, " I still need to hang those closets doors" or "That wall needs some touching up of paint." Slowly but surely, we'll get there soon enough. =)

For the time being here are a few pictures of Riley enjoying her new living room.

She also really enjoys sitting in storage bins or dresser drawers.

A few days ago we decided to go to our local park. As you can see, the humidity got the best of my camera and us for that matter. Most of my pictures were a foggy mess but I did manage to get a few good ones.

Lastly, here is a home update. Here is our before and after of our one and only bathroom. As I am not fond of the black tub and toilet, I am happy for a bathroom that has been redone, so for the time being we're sticking with the black. In the bathroom we gave it a fresh coat of paint (or two), added lights and fixtures, installed a new, and much needed medicine cabinet and removed the shower doors to add a shower curtain. Now, we've kept the glass shower doors to use later on but for right now those doors made it impossible to bathe Riley so for now, the shower curtain is it!

Home Sweet Home!

This might be one of the only blog posts I write without any kind of pictures or videos attached. I just wanted to update quickly and say we made the big move into our new house! And it looks like the computer and dsl made it in one piece too! It will definitely take some time to get through all of the boxes and get life back to normal but we're working on it daily. I will have tons of photos to post soon but for now I will end with a HUGE THANK YOU to all of my family and friends for helping us in more ways than you know. We owe you all so much for all of the hard work and help you gave us and we are blessed to have you all in our lives! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!
