A Year In Review...

1 picture from each month from 2009. What a cool idea! I saw this on a couple other blogs and I thought it was an adorable idea so thanks to Evelyn and Victoria because I saw this on your blogs first! Now, onto the hard part of picking just one picture from each month...eeeek!

Time To PLAY!

On Saturday, we made our second trip to Monkey Joe's. We decided to bring my best friend, Courtney (or as Riley calls her "Coco") with us. The first time we took Riley, she had a blast! But, it was SO BUSY that I think she was a little overwhelmed as well. This time wasn't as busy and she really took the place over. She seemed so independent! At one point I asked her if she wanted to go down a slide and she quickly said, "No" and walked away. I was stunned! It was the first time where I felt like I asked her a question, she completely understood and answered back. It was at that moment where it really hit me that my baby is growing up! I just can't believe how fast time is flying...
Here are some pictures from our fun at Monkey Joe's.

"A Latte Fun" and "Ikea"

We finally set a date to meet up with Cousin Holly and Aunt Jody at A Latte Fun. A Latte Fun is a play zone for the kids and a cute little coffee shop/cafe for the adults. As busy as it was, we still had a great time!

In the dress up closet, we discovered an irresistible tu-tu that Riley HAD to try on! I think she claimed it as her own because the rest of the time we were there, the tu-tu never came off!

Miss Holly found a Care Bear costume and took it with her down the slide....many, many times!

Needless to say, Riley had a fantastic time with her Cousin Holly and Aunt Jody!
Later in the day, Courtney and Uncle EJ came over and we decided to make a trip over to the fabulous Ikea! But first, we had to play with Courtney's iphone in our new tu-tu from A Latte Fun!
Unfortunately, there are no pictures from Ikea but check out this awesome lady bug play tent we picked up while we were there! Riley brings all of her pillows inside along with her snacks and drink and gets her daily dose of Playhouse Disney.

A little of this, a little of that.

Miss Riley loves her swing!

And has found that she can color on her face =)

She loves her Grandpa like crazy and calls him "Pa-Paw"

She loves to be outdoors...

Happy Birthday Grandpa and Uncle Paul!

She knows how to eat her chips like a lady and always has a smile for her Mommy!

Hi Cousin Amanda!

This past weekend we were in the Orlando area for a day and it was a MUST to stop by Amanda's college dorm and say hello! Amanda just started at UCF this past week and it looks like she is settling in quite nicely there. Riley did too. We let her loose in Amanda's hallways and she went running and yelling to let everyone know she was there! Sorry to those who were studying!
We hope you have an amazing freshman year of college, Amanda!!

You can blame Uncle EJ!

I don't know if Uncle EJ is to blame for this picture or if it's Riley's love for Uncle EJ's dog, Wiley. I think she'd follow this dog to the ends of the earth and back if she could. Don't let the picture fool you, she was ELATED to be in that cage with him! I wonder what Uncle EJ will do with his own kids when he has them one day......hmm....=)
We love you Uncle EJ!

Battle of the Cozy Coupe

Like every Friday night, the family gets together and goes for dinner. As you can see, Riley was ready to go!

After dinner, Riley got the opportunity to play with Elena at my Mom and Dad's house. Riley LOVES her some Elena!!! They (Riley) thought it would be fun to cruise around in the Cozy Coupe...together. It was a bit of a tight squeeze but they seemed to manage just fine.
