My How Time Flies....

Looking back at photos of last October and comparing them to this October, has really made me realize that my baby is not a baby anymore. She is a full blown toddler! I can't believe how much she has changed in the past year! Here are a few "Then" and "Now" pictures.

Strawberry Sweetie!

So, for this Halloween, Riley is going to be a Strawberry! Well, at least she was going to be. My parents decided to take the entire family on a trip to DISNEY over Halloween weekend and we are SO EXCITED! It will be Riley's 1st Trip to Disney World and we can't wait to see her reaction to everything!

We will still bring Riley's costume to Orlando but since we won't be local and taking "Halloween" pictures, I decided to have some photos taken. We met up with Dawn and Walter of "Yap Originals" and once again, they delivered some amazing pictures that we are absolutely in love with! Time To PLAY!

On Saturday, we made our second trip to Monkey Joe's. We decided to bring my best friend, Courtney (or as Riley calls her "Coco") with us. The first time we took Riley, she had a blast! But, it was SO BUSY that I think she was a little overwhelmed as well. This time wasn't as busy and she really took the place over. She seemed so independent! At one point I asked her if she wanted to go down a slide and she quickly said, "No" and walked away. I was stunned! It was the first time where I felt like I asked her a question, she completely understood and answered back. It was at that moment where it really hit me that my baby is growing up! I just can't believe how fast time is flying...

FLCS Craft Fair!

Today, we went to the only school I ever knew-Fort Lauderdale Christian School. I was at that school from K-12th Grade and I have so many amazing memories from going there. One very special memory will always be attending the Annual Craft Fair. In our High School years, our class would have a car wash, sell cotton candy or do some sort of fund raising all to raise money for our Junior/Senior Prom. Even after I graduated, I have gone back every year to see how the school is doing and see how many familiar faces from the past I might recognize! It's always fun.

In 2007, I had just found out I was pregnant with Riley and the Craft Fair was just a few weeks after that. I still hadn't told ANYONE that I was expecting and I remember being at the Craft Fair and having some pretty bad morning sickness-that was not a fun year.

In 2008, Riley was 5 months old when we went to the Craft Fair-this being her very first time going! I wish I had some pictures to document the trip but I completely forgot my camera =(

And here we are in 2009 and Riley has now gone to the Craft Fair 2 times! This year was the best by far! She had a blast running around and meeting all new people. I doubt she'll remember this year but at least this year I brought my camera to capture her running around the gym where I spent countless hours playing sports, eating lunch, attending pep rallies and so much more!

Before & After-Our Master Bedroom

Our new home is a constant work in progress. But, then again, everyone who owns a home always tells me that the projects never seem to run out and there is always something to update and improve. I'm hoping by the time we've hit our 1 year mark in our home, that we'll have most of our big projects completed.

For now, here is our Master Bedroom.

In here we added carpet, many coats of paint, new closet doors and window treatments. I'd say it's a BIG improvement from the mustard yellow walls and "doo-doo" brown trim. Yes, I said "doo-doo!" It was BAD-lol!
